In the summer of 2021, I formed this band and called it, “Blue Sky”.

After touring the Philadelphia area, I discovered that there are over 33k “Blue Sky’s” out there! We needed to change our name for so many reasons.

We prayed. And I thought about my past….

Starting as a child actress, I had made a career in the entertainment industry dancing the role of “Rumpleteazer” in the Broadway musical, “Cats”. I also worked in Hollywood as a child stunt double (I’m barely 5 feet tall!) in movies with Macaulay Culkin and the kids on the television show, “Full House.”

Although I loved to perform, I was definitely seeking my worth and value in the work itself. I was always chasing the next show to fulfill my lonely heart.

When my sister told me about Jesus, every empty part of me was filled with God’s amazing love and presence!

As a former dancer, “Dancing with David” popped into my head! (A reference to King David “dancing before the Lord with all his might.”)

The new band name reflects where I am-and where all of us in this band-are today. Our one desire is to share the life changing, great news that God loves you and the Bible is all true.

Everything you are looking for is in a relationship with God through His son, Jesus.

I hope that you will enjoy our music, be encouraged in your faith and that we will see you out there at an event! Lots of love, Courtney
